Free Women’s Personal Safety Seminar on December 10th Shows You How to Avoid Being a Victim this Holiday Season! You must RSVP in advance to attend, space is extremely limited.

The holiday season has the highest crime rate of the year, especially in terms of personal attacks such as robberies, thefts and muggings. This year law enforcement officials are cautioning residents about a further possible crime spike due to the current condition of the economy.

Each year at the start of the holiday season, Elite Personal Safety Systems and The Women’s Personal Safety Network, in association with Full Circle Martial Arts Academy provide the community with a free personal safety seminar to learn how to avoid being a victim.

The free seminar will be held on December 10, 2010 from 10:00AM to 11:30AM at 10835 Lanham-Severn Road, Glenn Dale MD 20769. Attendees must RSVP by:

Calling 1-888-377-9776

Visiting http://www.elitepersonsafety.com/freeseminar

Participants can look forward to a very educational, practical and fun experience…. You will learn firsthand what predators look for in victims, how to be aware of your surroundings to discourage an assault and how to quickly escape the most common attacks used by predators! (Without needing years of martial arts training!)

Founding members and Executive Directors, Samuel Scott and Hersh Sandhoo, have over 50 years of combined martial arts training, numerous personal safety certifications and have taught self-defense to thousands of people worldwide, including corporations, law enforcement, private security firms, government agencies and elite military personnel.

What others are saying:

“The instruction is very valuable for all ages, both young and old. I recommend this training which is very easy to learn for our senior citizens too.” – Sara Hamilton

“I have not been in a victim of a crime but I have been in situations where I felt very uncomfortable. Now if presented with the same situations, like being on elevators or stairs, I feel more confident that I could get away and buy myself more time. Thank you sooo much!!” – Arleen Linzau

“I would like to express my appreciation for the self-defense training workshops you hosted for us during our fall retreat. We found your techniques to avoid becoming victims of crime, as well as how to defend ourselves, invaluable. We learned so much and really enjoyed ourselves in the process. Know that you are welcome to return anytime. We are looking forward to it!”
- L. Germaine Cheatham
Director of Admissions, Delaware State University

Make sure to watch the video and see how this exact seminar saved an attendee’s life just a few weeks later!

RSVP Today! We have limited spacing and are expecting a very large turnout and media representatives to attend. So dress comfortable but also keep in mind we will be filming and you may appear on various media outlets.

Elite Personal Safety Systems' internationally recognized Women's Personal Safety Workshops now available at Sport and Health fitness clubs in the Washington DC Metro Area

Elite Personal Safety Systems will now be offering 90 minute women’s personal safety workshops at Sport and Health Fitness Clubs in the greater Washington DC area. The need has never been greater for all women, regardless of race or occupation, to learn how to safely protect themselves for predators. While one in three women will be the victim of a sexual assault less the 5% of rapists spend any time in jail! Even scarier is that 70% of all assaults and rapes are committed by an unarmed attacker.

Elite Personal Safety Systems will be launching it’s internationally recognized Women’s Personal Safety Workshop at:

April 17 from 12:00PM to 1:30PM.
Sport and Health Fitness Clubs
4400 Montgomery Avenue
Bethesda, MD 20814
Cost: $39.95 Member | $49.95 Non Member

Anyone can attend, you do not need to be a member. This 90 minute class will teach you firsthand what predators look for in a target, how to avoid the victim profile, how to be aware of your surroundings to discourage an assault and how to quickly escape a dangerous confrontation.

According to Brooke Thompson, Operations Manager for the Bethesda Sport and Health Club, “We are very excited to work with EPS Systems and the Women’s Personal Safety Network to bring these personal safety classes to our fitness clubs. Sport and Health takes our members safety very seriously.”

Space is extremely limited and you must purchase your ticket online prior to the event. This event will sell out since Masters Scott and Sandhoo will be personally conducting the women’s personal safety workshop.

FREE Defender Safety Keychain included with event ticket!!

Register Online:
http://www.thewpsn.com/sportandhealth

What others are saying about taking this personal safety class:

I was walking in a parking lot late at night when I was grabbed from behind. Instinctively I was able to use the Defender that was attached to my key ring to strike my attacker in the face and was able to run into a store for help. The Defender keychain saved my life! I later found out that my attacker had left his car running and was likely trying to kidnap me. I highly recommend the Defender and Elite Personal Safety Systems to everyone.

Benita Gardner

The Defender is definitely a great tool for women (or anyone). It is manageable and convenient. The techniques taught make me feel more secure going out alone with the possibility that I may have to defend
myself one day.

Valerie Sanders

I found this training assuring and quite helpful. I’m only 5’1 and always out by myself. This training has given me several techniques I can easily use when I am in danger.

Lia Watts

After an hour of practice with the Defender I feel more prepared to defend myself in a crisis. Thank you!

Steffanie Rivers

The instruction is very valuable for all ages, both young and old. I recommend this training which is very easy to learn for our senior citizens too.

Meet the Women's Personal Safety Network founders October 3rd in Dover, DE. We are supporting Witney's Lights efforts to end domestic violence at their 2009 5K Run/Walk. Come join us!

We are proud to support Witney’s Lights efforts to end domestice violence. Domestic violence is one of the most devastating crimes against women:

Battering is the single major cause of injury to women, more frequent than automobile accidents, muggings and rapes combined!

An act of domestic violence occurs every 15 seconds, more frequently than any other US Crime

Of all homicides in the U.S., approximately 40% occur between family members and intimate partners.

One out of three homeless households identified domestic violence as the cause of their homelessness.

Boys from homes where domestic violence is present are:

4 times more likely to abuse in a dating relationship

25 times more likely to commit rape as an adult

6 times more likely to commit suicide

Have a 74% greater chance of committing crimes against others

Have a 24% greater chance of committing a sexual assault as an adult

1000 times more likely to commit violent acts against their own children

Come out Saturday October 3rd in Silver Lake Park (Dover, DE) and support this effort with us. Make sure to stop by our table, Elite Personal Safety Systems, and say hello. In addition to the walk/run there will be lots of fun activities for children, food, a DJ and more!
